  • Oh bother, I can't not Xanga.
I'm overworked yet overpaid, so I keep pushing through these stacks of
RFAs and donning pointy pumps (I like that part) and "I'm sorry, I
    cannot, I have a 10 o'clock with Miles from the Endeavour Academy"-ing
[YES, his name is Miles! How
fab is that?], and even though I evaluated my pre-PR-job productivity
and found that I've actually been reading (about Art Nouveau, Iran)
more, writing more (but nothing draining, frenzied, satisfying), and
running more (almost with fury, while listening to the L'Auberge
Espagnole soundtrack), I've been daydreaming, beachcombing, and just
lying on my bed leafing through Ez's earliest works less, and I
haven't cooked a gourmet meal nor slept, really slept, in days.
    Goodness.

Wealthy patrons of the arts who wish to support my
    literature-devouring, florid fiction-writing, and French
cuisine-preparing habits step forward!, for this technical writing deal
is not going to work for me eternally.

  • YES (happier)

(i'm so sorry, but it just seems i'm in some sort of Defense Mechanism postmodern kick! forgive me and straighten things out next week?)

  • Fancy, I'm PROUD of you for giving in.  Sometimes the Muse alights more readily when in the company of others seeking the Muse.  Do not leave us again.  And now, for your assignment:  Read Nick Bantock's saga that begins with Griffin & Sabine.  Do not delay.  I'm interested to see how it moves you.

And who knows, maybe one day we can sit around getting smashed off champagne (which, by the way, is still champagne, even if in a paper cup--whose xanga was that, ???) sliding out of waterford flutes and write that obliterated poetry together.  One never truly knows, the world is so small....

  • Sarah, I'm glad to see that you haven't the control to stop the xanga-ing, because otherwise there would be a 100% chance that I would never see another photoessay again. I can't live with those odds! Remember that the summer is no where close to being over, and we will continue to do some major damage in the greater Brevard area. Holla back, Ho!

  • Heck, while I'm at it...

    "...You doin ho activities
    With ho tendencies
Hos are your friends, hoes are your enemies..."

"...Cant turn a ho into a housewife
    Hos dont act right..."

"...Hey ho how ya doin, where ya been?
Prolly doin ho stuff cuz there you ho again..."

"...You gotta run in your pantyhos
    Even your daddy knows..."

    And a personal favorite,

"...On taxes ya'll writin off hos as dependents
    I see tha ho risin
    it aint surprisin
    its just a hoasis
    with ugly chicks faces..."

    I MISS/LOVE YOU!

  • Fancy, 7:57 is too early in the morning to read your entries, but UNF does strike home.... UNF as in 10 minutes from my house. that's where our friend peregrinus graduated from, actually.

how did the date go (in third grade english terms until after 12, please)?

UNF. wow. its a small state out there.

  • Doesn't sound like your life is that bad...your so much more productive...however, you need sleep sometime - try to get it, please! Good luck!

  • aahh, my Alma Mater.  "U(you)N(never)F(finish)" as the saying goes.  :)
